Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Combo Brows.

Combo Brows blend microbladed hair strokes with soft ombre shading, offering both realistic hair-like definition and deeper color density. Unlike microblading alone, the combo technique adds fullness and longevity while maintaining a natural, feathered finish tailored to your features.

Expect about two to three hours for the initial appointment, including consultation, shape mapping, topical numbing, and the procedure. Times vary by client and complexity; follow-up touch-up appointments are shorter, usually around one hour.

Combo Brows suit many skin types, including moderately oily skin, but results can vary. Very oily or heavily scarred skin may need alternative techniques. A consultation will determine suitability and customize pigment, depth, and technique for optimal results.

Most clients report only mild discomfort. We apply topical anesthetic before and during the procedure to minimize pain. Sensations are typically described as light pressure or scratching, and your artist will pause as needed to keep you comfortable.

Results commonly last twelve to twenty-four months depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. An initial touch-up at six to eight weeks refines pigment and shape; thereafter most clients choose maintenance visits every twelve to eighteen months.

Aftercare includes keeping brows dry for seven to ten days, avoiding swimming, saunas, hot tubs, and heavy sweating, and applying the recommended ointment sparingly. Do not pick scabs and protect from sun to ensure even pigment retention and proper healing.
