Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Microblading.

Microblading typically lasts 12–18 months depending on skin type, lifestyle, and pigment retention. A color boost or touch-up is usually recommended at 6–12 months to maintain crispness and definition.

Most clients experience mild discomfort similar to light scratching; topical numbing ensures comfort. Aftercare includes keeping brows dry, avoiding heavy sweating, sun exposure, swimming and makeup for two weeks, and applying recommended ointment.

Ideal candidates want fuller, natural-looking brows with realistic expectations. Those with healthy skin near the brow area and not pregnant or on certain medications are preferred; a consultation confirms suitability and design choices.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood-thinning medications, and intense sun exposure 24–48 hours before. Skip brow waxing or tinting for at least a week and arrive with clean, makeup-free brows for your consultation.

Minor redness, swelling, and scabbing are normal and resolve within days to weeks. Rare risks include infection or allergic reaction; we use sterile tools and may perform patch tests to minimize risk. Follow aftercare and contact us with concerns.

Pricing varies by technique and customization; initial services typically include a consultation and a recommended 6–8 week touch-up which may be included or offered at an additional cost. Contact Lash Envy Studios for current rates and packages.
