Get answers to common questions about Stomach Strip Wax.
Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly the length of a grain of rice). This allows the wax to grip properly for effective root removal and smoother results over time.
Some discomfort is normal, but our experienced estheticians use quick, supportive techniques and soothing products to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be used upon request, and proper hair length plus breathing and relaxation help make the session much more tolerable.
Wait at least 12 to 24 hours before hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise to reduce irritation and open-pore exposure. Short lukewarm showers are okay after a few hours; follow our aftercare instructions for optimal healing.
Typically every 4 to 6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle. Regular waxing weakens follicles over time, leading to finer regrowth and possibly longer intervals between appointments as your hair becomes sparser.
Mild redness, tenderness, or tiny bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Use soothing lotions, avoid sun and friction, and contact us if you experience prolonged swelling, severe pain, or signs of infection.
Consult your esthetician if you are pregnant, using retinoids or Accutane, have active skin infections, sunburned or open wounds, or certain medical conditions. We’ll assess your situation and recommend safer alternatives or defer treatment if necessary.
